In the past few months, you may have seen Google advertisements carrying our company’s name “vCargo Cloud” or you may have heard from others who have seen this online.
Those ads would have directed you, not to our website, but to a competitor, Tradenet Services Pte. Ltd. (“TNets”). TNets is a separate and distinct business entity that is not related to us in any way.
Our lawyers have written to TNets, and they’ve taken down these misleading advertisements. TNets also issued an apology to us, acknowledging that they used “vCargo” and/or “vCargo Cloud” in their advertisements without our consent. TNets has agreed to cease and desist usage of the “vCargo” and/or “vCargo Cloud” marks.
We hope you were not misled by these advertisements and the above helps clarify.
From a business perspective, we understand that from time to time, competitors may try to find new ways to catch up with us and we see it as a huge compliment. We’re proud of the fact that we have proven ourselves as leaders in the way we meet our customers’ needs, especially in our core area of trade declaration services.
