GUUD Indonesia Announces MoU signing with ORGANDA to promote Clickargo in the Central Java region

Clickargo is the nation’s first digital logistics platform to be integrated with Customs and appointed as an LPL for the collection of government duties and taxes.

SEMARANG, 23 March 2022: PT GUUD Logistics Indonesia (“GUUD Indonesia”), the Indonesia office of the GUUD group, a leading trade technology company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indonesia’s land transport organisation, ORGANDA, to promote the use of Clickargo within the Central Java region. Clickargo is the nation’s first digital logistics platform to be integrated with Customs and appointed as an LPL for the collection of government duties and taxes.

 

This initiative is fully supported by Indonesia’s National Logistics Ecosystem (“NLE”), as part of the government’s drive to improve efficiencies in the logistics sector and improve the overall competitiveness of Indonesia’s economy.

 

Mr. Anton Martin SE. MH, Head of Tanjung Emas Customs and Excise, said at the event, “This collaboration connects trucking platforms so that tracking and service requests can be made through the National Logistic Ecosystem. The online trucking system makes it easier for users to obtain trucking services that meet their requirements and at competitive rates. The trucking services system is expected to deliver transparency, real-time information on routes and trucker availability, and to offer a digital track and trace solution for trucking service providers.”

 

His comments were echoed by Mr Beny Syamrizal, Sales Director of PT GUUD Logistics Indonesia who also mentioned, “GUUD aims to help drive digital transformation across the logistics sector through Clickargo and we value the supportive and strong partnership with NLE, as we work together to drive digital adoption across the various states. The MoU with ORGANDA is representative of the strong commitment of its members to improve on its existing processes, and we definitely look forward to working closely with all the land transportation companies to continuously refine Clickargo’s offerings to create more value for users.”

 

Mr. Purwo Widodo SE, Chairman of DPC ORGANDA Tanjung Emas Semarang shared, “With 285 member trucking companies running a fleet of approximately 2,800 trucks, ORGANDA is ready to fully support NLE in its drive to improve logistics distribution in Central Java and throughout Indonesia. This initiative will require the strong support and prayers of various parties involved, and we strongly believe that with good cooperation between multiple parties, we will be able to move the project forward at good speed. ”

 

PT GUUD Logistics Indonesia recently announced the launch of ClicDeclare, a module fully integrated with the Custom’s CEISA 4.0 application to facilitate integration and collaboration between governments and logistics businesses, allowing for fast, secure, and convenient document mapping, submissions, and approvals. Using artificial intelligence powered cognitive machine reading, documents are scanned, and data accurately read and populated into relevant form fields online, saving users hundreds of hours in manual paperwork and checking.

 

Clickargo, a part of the GUUD ecosystem, is a digital platform that provides seamless end-to-end trade transactions all the way from application of permits to governments, booking of shipping and trucking options as well as payments of taxes and duties.
